"COME TO THE CARNIVAL" - Family Dinner, Dance & Silent Auction

Attention Green Families:
Thank you to everyone who supported this year's Silent Auction! It was a great success in
it's new November spot on the calendar. Next year's event will definitely be something
to look forward to!
Don't miss a great evening of fun! This year the dinner, dance and silent auction
event will be held on Friday, November 2, 2007, with dinner planned to begin at 6:00pm.
Planned Activities
Catered Dinner - BBQ sandwiches, corn dogs and nachos
Dance - A DJ will provide the music for the dance and there will
will be many fun activities in a carnival atmosphere
Silent Auction - Class baskets and donations from the community will
be auctioned off
Raffle for Students - Teacher donations and a few class baskets/donated
items will be raffled
"Party Time" - Sign up to attend or host a party - for details on how to
participate, please see the Party Time Program
Description
Class Baskets - Remember to send in your donations for your class basket
so that your child's class has a wonderful basket to auction off! Basket donations
are due on October 12, 2007, so please help your class basket
coordinator by bringing your contributions early!
Silent Auction Donations - If you, your business, or the company you
work for has anything that can be donated to our auction (including cash), please contact

Tickets: A ticket order form for the dinner, dance/auction
admission, and coupons for the raffle and entertainment are due.
GYM CHAPERONES
Once again, employees of "Kids Club" will be chaperoning the gym. There will be two
people at the door assigning ID braceletes. Your bracelet will match your childs and
you can drop them off at the gym and be on your way to enjoy an evening of shopping
and socializing at the auction. Your child will not be able to leave the gym until
a parent returns to pick them up. There will also be seating provided in the gym for
parents to enjoy the dance. There will not be a snack bar this year and water bottles
will be provided free of charge. Please make plans to attend this event!!
It is for such a good cause... our children!!
Please note that all proceeds will go towards the general PTA fund - which supports all
of the great PTA programs and events throughout the year - and you can look at the
Projects page to see what school improvements
may be in store for the rest of this school year!
