Green Traffic Plan
For safety tips for the morning drop off and afternoon pick up, please see the
Green Traffic Plan,
which contains guidelines and diagrams to help keep everyone informed - and most
importantly, SAFE!!
When dropping off your child in the car pool line each morning, please pull ALL THE
WAY UP TO THE SIGN by the crosswalk / west school entrance! This will ensure that
traffic flow will be optimized and the line of cars will be reduced down Comanche.
In the afternoons, please pull all the way up so the line of cars is kept as short
as possible.
Keep your children safe... remember to use designated crosswalks!
In an effort to ensure safety, police will be ticketing students for crossing streets
in areas not designated as a cross walk.
In addition, drivers of vehicles may also be ticketed if the following combined events
occur—they are parked on the opposite side of the street than the campus and the child
that they are picking up is cited for crossing in an undesignated area to get to the car.
Wanted: Dedicated, Enthusiastic Volunteers!!!
Our school is such a special place, because we have an amazing number of volunteers
willing to share their time and talents. As PTA volunteer coordinators, we greatly
depend on you! For your convenience, all of the volunteer needs and descriptions can
be found on our Volunteer Page. You can
fill out the Volunteer Form available online or in the lobby and return it to your
child's teacher.
If you are planning to volunteer in any way at the school, you will need to fill
out a criminal background check. Please see the
Volunteer Page for more details.
Don’t forget to log in the computer at the front desk when volunteering at school.
Hours volunteered at home can be logged into the computer as well. The two volunteers
with the most hours each month will be awarded with a small gift from
the PTA. Thanks for your support of our wonderful school!
World Book Online Reference Center
The World Book Online offers 24-hour access to a plethora of information. Check it out!
Mrs. Olsin will soon be publishing login information for all grades.
