Volunteer

We hope you are ready for a great year at Green Elementary! Volunteers play a vital role in the success of a school and the achievement of its students. We are fortunate at Green to have a dedicated group of parents who are willing to devote much time and energy to our school. Involved parents help provide a rewarding learning environment for our children. We are looking forward to a fantastic year!

Please register as a Green volunteer by clicking the button below. Only submit more than one form if you have more than three children at Green this year. Opportunities are available in the classroom, school-wide, and for special events and fundraisers. Descriptions of volunteer opportunities are in the volunteer form, where you will find a list of events and volunteer opportunities that we have at Green. You need no special skills to volunteer, but rather a willingness to contribute a small amount of your spare time. Please help us by completing and submitting the Volunteer form online by Friday, August 26th.

Room and Party Parents will be chosen by drawing names out of a “hat”. We will contact the Room and Party Parents by Sunday, August 29th. A Volunteer Orientation Meeting for Room and Party Parents is scheduled for Wednesday, September 7th at the school. All other volunteers will be contacted by teachers or event coordinators near the date that volunteers are needed.

Please remember that ALL volunteers in Allen ISD are required to complete a background check each year. The district pays for the background check and provides each school with a list of eligible volunteers. To complete the form, please click the button below to complete the AISD background check. Please complete this process as soon as possible. Once your form is submitted, you should receive notice from the district within 2-4 weeks. When you volunteer at the school or from home, please log in your volunteer hours each month. Vouchers will be awarded to the volunteer with the most hours logged each month. The vouchers may be used toward your class parties or classroom needs.
